This is why LAContainer offers tamper evident shrink bands<\/a> for select hinged-lid container sizes, so you can have the most secure packaging for your products!<\/p>\n

Our heat shrink bands<\/a> are made out of a clear polyvinyl chloride or PVC plastic. This material creates a strong plastic band that is heated and shrunk down over the hinged lid of the containers creating a tamper evident seal.<\/p>\n

Shrink bands<\/a> are available in 9 different sizes<\/a> ranging in size from 35 millimeters to 136 millimeters in lay flat width. With this, most tamper evident shrink band sizes come with a SVP, or Single Vertical Perforation, to allow end users to easily remove the shrink bands<\/a> using a pre cut, perforated strip.<\/p>\n

The tamper evident shrink bands<\/a> are made to fit all sizes of our round Lacons\u00ae hinged lid plastic containers<\/a> and the child resistant Squeezetops\u00ae plastic vials<\/a>. With this, the shrink bands can also fit select sizes of the Microvials\u00ae<\/a>, Flex-A-Top\u00ae<\/a> and Lavials\u00ae<\/a> container families.<\/p>\n

In fact, the part number of the shrink bands<\/a> and the Lacons\u00ae plastic containers match up for the easiest shopping experience possible. We do this by matching up the two numbers at the end of the shrink band part number with the first two numbers of the container. For example, the SHRB12<\/a> matches up with all Lacons\u00ae<\/a> that starts with the number 12, like the 120600<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"SHRB<\/a><\/p>\n

All of our heat shrink bands<\/a> are easily applied using the heat gun<\/a> available from LAContainer. To apply, simply open up the band, place it over the lid of the container and use the heat gun<\/a> to shrink the band so it fits tightly around the container. Please note that one should only use the lowest heat setting on the gun in a well-ventilated area when applying shrink bands.<\/a><\/p>\n
