Statcons® Material Information:

Blue Static Dissipative

Blue Static Dissipative (BAS) Material is a permanent anti-static material, meaning the material will not “Leach out” or degrade over time. This makes this material great for the long-term storage or transportation of sensitive electronic equipment, semi conductors or lab equipment that can be damaged from the smallest of electronic shocks. This BAS Material is REACH, RoHS and FDA compliant and has no latex or dry rubber added to the material from the manufacturer. More technically, containers made from this material have a surface resistivity of 1×108 ohm/sq. – 9.9×109 ohm/sq., with a static decay rate of 5kV to 50V in < 0.50 seconds. Our BAS containers come in a translucent blue color that gives it an easily recognizable appearance. BAS containers are ideal for use with sensitive electronic components, circuits, conductors or any other sensitive electronic parts.

Black Conductive

Conductive Anti-Static (CAS) plastic containers, made with a specialized polypropylene material, have a surface resistivity of < 1×106 ohm/sq , with a static decay rate of charges on conductive vials between 5kV to 50V in < 2.00 seconds. In addition to being compliant with Federal Test Standard 101C Method 4046.1 for resistivity, this CAS material is REACH and RoHS compliant and has no latex or dry rubber added to the material from the manufacturer. CAS is achieved through the addition of carbon fiber or carbon powder to the polymers, creating a distinct opaque black appearance. Our CAS containers are ideal for uses with pyrotechnics and other explosive industries.

Clear Polypropylene

Our USP class VI polypropylene is 100% virgin medical, lab and food grade and is even autoclave sterilizable. This material is also BPA, Lead and heavy metal free, phthalates safe and is REACH, RoHS, DMF and FDA compliant. With this our polypropylene containers contain no animal derived products or any chemicals or components known to cause cancer or other issues at levels that would subject to California Prop 65. Plastic containers made from our polypropylene plastic are great for the food, industrial and medial industries, amongst many others.

Polypropylene containers from Lacontainer are proudly made in the USA and are recyclable. Certifications, Regulatory Data Sheets, MSDS, and Drug Master File assistance is available upon request as we ensure and guarantee strict Material Lot Number traceability with each plastic container we produce.
