If you are in the tech or medical industry you know that having the proper containers to hold and transport materials is of the utmost importance. That is why we here at LA Container created the PolyVial container line. These small plastic vials come in so many different materials and sizes that it is almost guaranteed that you will find the perfect container.
Let’s start with the plastic. These containers can be made with either Polypropylene or Polyethylene plastic and each type of plastic comes with their own sub categories.
The Polypropylene Vials are offered in either laboratory grade or non-laboratory grade plastic. As you would guess from the name the lab grade containers are meant for use in a lab setting when dealing with sensitive materials or equipment. The non-laboratory containers are made for more general use outside of a lab or conductive settings.
Along with this, the Polypropylene containers are available in ESD materials. These include Blue Static Dissipative and Black Conductive material options, which restrict the flow of electricity from you to the contents of the container.
Our polyethylene vials are slightly different. Besides the type of plastic being used, these small plastic containers only come in a laboratory grade style. This includes the normal lab grade option and a Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) Option. This NAA Option is only available in two sizes and is specifically made for the Neutron Activation Analysis industry as they have a thicker wall than the normal lab grade vials.
Aside from the NAA Option both types of these hinged lid containers come in 16 different sizes with diameters ranging from under a quarter of an inch to over one and a half inches wide. Made in the USA these small plastic vials are available in over 20 different colors and are sure to be the perfect fit for anything from your laboratory to your home!
